The Koi Foundation is a non-profit inspired by the koi fish, a symbol of strength, resilience, and perseverance. We support unhoused communities through essential aid, harm reduction, and advocacy, helping individuals navigate life’s currents with dignity and courage.
Mission
Our mission is to support unhoused communities by helping people stay afloat and move forward. We provide essential necessities to those in crisis, recognizing that no one can swim when they are barely surviving. We practice harm reduction by meeting people where they are, prioritizing dignity, safety, and life-saving support. Through awareness and advocacy, we work to reduce stigma, educate the community, and remove barriers that keep people from seeking help.
